Short Story
Fun in the Discomfort demonstrates how interjecting fun, positivity, even silliness to break through the dark and challenging times can strengthen your resilience in life. Life’s difficulties can be reframed as opportunities to grow, to laugh, and to discover strength in the most unexpected places.
Fun in the Discomfort: Imparting Positivity, even Silliness, into Otherwise Negative Experiences
My name is Richard Crowley and I am the author of Fun in the Discomfort. I wrote this book because my wife’s battle with throat cancer during a painful and challenging time on several fronts of my life reminded me now more than ever was time to take action.
My hope is that, in reading this book, you will discover we can uncover the light that shines through the darkness and learn to thrive in the face of life’s challenges. In this book, I hope to instill in you the same sort of passion and excitement that I have for having Fun in the Discomfort. Ultimately, I want you to see this book as a tool to help you explore how embracing discomfort can lead to growth, resilience, and even laughter.
