Between narrative and neuroscience. Between self-help and self-acceptance. It’s about remembering who you were before the world told you to choose. It’s about choosing yourself so you can be who you are and what you love.

About the Publishing Process

My publisher, Manuscripts, gave me a publishing team to help me produce and launch my book.

I am working with:

• A revisions editor, copy editor, and proofreader this fall to further hone my book (when you preorder a book, you’ll get early excerpts and access to earlier versions of my manuscript)
• A marketing specialist to coach and support me in marketing efforts, and help me reach new audiences
• A cover artist and layout editor will be designing my book. (The mockups you see currently are a placeholder)

Though I won’t have an exact publishing date until I get closer, I’m scheduled to publish in mid 2026.

About the Author

Jeff Hinderscheid (he/him) is a writer, educator, and performing arts leader who blends psychology and creativity to inspire balance in the digital age. With a B.A. in Drama from UC Irvine and a Master’s in Psychology focused on Mental Health Administration, Jeff has spent over a decade helping students, parents, and communities rediscover authentic expression beyond the screen.

As the founder of Center Stage Theatrical Productions and host of the podcast Offline Xpression, Jeff combines storytelling, science, and soul to guide audiences toward intentional living. His debut book, bridges neuroscience and narrative to help readers reclaim focus, creativity, and connection in an overstimulated world.

When he’s not writing or directing theater, Jeff can be found in a theater somewhere on the California coast with his family, planning his next community arts project – or forgetting where he put his coffee (again).
